Ronda Rousey Sends Zhang Weili a Wholesome Message of Support Ahead of UFC 322

Ronda Rousey has voiced her support for Zhang Weili before the Chinese star challenges Valentina Shevchenko for the flyweight title in the UFC 322 co-main event at Madison Square Garden.

In a video shared on social media, the former UFC bantamweight champion wished Zhang luck and encouraged her to seize the moment.

“Hey, Weili. Best of luck this weekend,” Rousey said. “You’re not just representing yourself or your country—you’re representing all the women in the sport and all who will come after you. What matters is that you go out there and prove you are the main event attraction. Steal the show.”

Rousey added that she believes Zhang is “entirely capable” of doing just that.

Both Zhang and Shevchenko successfully made championship weight, making their highly anticipated title fight official.

The message arrives on the 10-year anniversary of Rousey’s own historic UFC title loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193, a shocking upset that followed Rousey’s 11-fight first-round finish streak.
