Less than ten days after leaving the UFC, Bryan Battle stepped into the Dirty Boxing Championship. At DBX 3, he defeated Derik de Freitas in a brief, chaotic fight that left fans shocked.

Chaotic action from the start

After the opening combinations, Freitas swung wildly and grabbed Battle. The referee quickly separated them. Both fighters exchanged uncontrolled punches until Battle landed a left hand that sent Freitas to the canvas. He immediately followed with ground strikes before the referee intervened again.

Abrupt end to the fight

Once back on their feet, Battle knocked Freitas down with another series of heavy shots. Freitas clung to Battle’s leg but ignored the referee’s instructions to rise. The referee stopped the match and awarded the victory to Battle.

Fans react with disbelief

Spectators reacted with confusion and criticism. Many called Freitas’ performance one of the weakest they had ever seen. Others questioned his preparation and the overall quality of the fight. Despite the bizarre display, Battle secured a decisive win in his new league.
