Anderson Silva earned another boxing knockout and quickly attracted a new high-profile challenger.
Silva stopped Tyron Woodley in the second round on the Jake Paul undercard.
After the win, Silva called out longtime rival Chris Weidman for a rescheduled boxing bout.
Weidman had withdrawn from a planned November fight because of injury.
However, former UFC middleweight contender Yoel Romero believes he deserves the shot instead.
Romero challenged Silva publicly, urging him to accept a boxing clash.
Romero recently won an interim light heavyweight wrestling title at 48 years old.
Despite a scheduled BKFC return, he said boxing is his next target.
During their UFC careers, Silva and Romero never fought each other.
Romero notably knocked out Weidman with a flying knee in 2016.
Silva has confirmed he plans to keep fighting despite turning 50.
He also revealed ambitions to pursue a future career as a police officer in California.
