White Confirms June 14 Date As Reports Claim $60 Million White House UFC Event

Dana White confirmed that the UFC White House card will stay on June 14. Reports claimed the date would move to June 26 and the price tag would rise sharply. White dismissed those claims in a blunt Instagram story. He confirmed that the event will take place on Sunday, June 14.

The promotion reportedly paid more than $20 million for UFC 306 at Sphere in Las Vegas. A new report claimed the White House show will cost $60 million. That figure would exceed previous UFC event budgets by a large margin and raise questions about production spending.

Report Suggests Date Change And Unusual Friday Fight Night

Puck News reported that the White House card would take place on June 26 instead of June 14. That schedule would place the fights on a Friday rather than a Sunday. Such a move would break from UFC tradition, which usually favors weekend pay-per-view slots.

White responded directly on social media and rejected the report. He wrote that the media spread false information and confirmed the original date. His message aimed to shut down speculation about delays, cost overruns, and planning issues.

June 14 holds symbolic importance because President Donald Trump celebrates his birthday that day. Reports said organizers moved the G7 Summit to fit the president’s schedule. Sources also said the UFC will open the event with a press conference at the Lincoln Memorial. The memorial will also host ceremonial weigh-ins for the fighters.

Trump Stadium Plan And Eight Title Fights Claim Face Doubts

The report suggested that organizers dropped plans to build a temporary stadium on the South Lawn. Current plans would allow fewer than 3,000 ticket holders to attend the event in person. Organizers would reserve another 1,000 tickets for military members.

Sources indicated that Trump’s claim of eight world title fights was unrealistic. Current plans reportedly include only two title bouts on the card. Dana White confirmed that the event will not be a numbered card or a traditional pay-per-view. He described the White House show as a special attraction event.
