Lightweight Showdown Highlights Inaugural Event
The UFC is set to host its first-ever event in Qatar on November 22, 2025, at the Ali Bin Hamad al-Attiyah Arena in Al Rayyan. Leading the card is a highly anticipated lightweight matchup between Arman Tsarukyan, ranked second with a 22-3 record, and Dan Hooker, ranked seventh with a 24-12 record. Both fighters are returning from recent challenges, as Tsarukyan recovers from a back injury and Hooker looks to build on his split decision victory over Mateusz Gamrot.

Welterweight Co-Main Brings Excitement
The co-main event will feature former welterweight champion Belal Muhammad taking on sixth-ranked Ian Machado Garry. Muhammad aims to rebound from a title loss to Jack Della Maddalena, while Garry hopes to continue his rise after avenging his first career defeat. The bout promises an intense battle for fans of the division.

UFC Expands Into the Middle East
The announcement of the Qatar fight card was confirmed by UFC President Dana White during an Instagram Live session. This event marks a major milestone as the promotion reaches new international markets, offering fans in the Middle East a chance to witness top-level MMA action featuring both established names and emerging talents.
