This weekend’s UFC 321 event in Abu Dhabi has taken another blow, losing a bout just days before fight night.
Lightweight Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady, nicknamed “The Pride of Palestine,” has seen his clash with Matheus Camilo scrapped — marking the fourth consecutive fight cancellation for the Fortis MMA standout. The reason for the latest cancellation remains undisclosed, according to MMA reporter Marcel Dorff.
Al-Selwady has not competed since his UFC debut loss to Loik Radzhabov in March 2024, while Camilo last fought in May, dropping his debut to Gabe Green.
Despite the setback, UFC 321 still boasts a strong lineup. In the main event, Tom Aspinall defends his heavyweight title for the first time against France’s Ciryl Gane, while Mackenzie Dern meets Virna Jandiroba for the vacant women’s strawweight belt.
Elsewhere, Umar Nurmagomedov faces Mario Bautista in a pivotal bantamweight showdown, Alexander Volkov takes on Jailton Almeida in a heavyweight contender bout, and the main card opens with Aleksandar Rakić vs. Azamat Murzakanov at light heavyweight.
