Terence Crawford Names Floyd Mayweather as Greatest Boxer Ahead of Canelo Clash

Ahead of his big fight against Canelo Alvarez on September 13, Terence Crawford has named Floyd Mayweather as the greatest boxer of all time. Crawford praised Mayweather’s powerful punches and ability to defeat nearly all his professional opponents. Mayweather famously schooled Canelo in their 2013 fight and has previously called Crawford the current pound-for-pound best.

Crawford Aims to Match Mayweather’s Record

Crawford enters the fight as an underdog due to the size difference but could equal Mayweather’s record by becoming a five-weight world champion if he defeats Canelo. Achieving this milestone would, in Crawford’s view, place him among the top five greatest boxers ever. The upcoming fight on TKO Boxing is highly anticipated and marks a defining moment in both fighters’ legacies.
