Paramount is close to adding Zuffa Boxing to its growing sports portfolio. Dana White’s influence in combat sports keeps expanding.
Deal announcement expected soon
A report from John Ourand of The Puck states Zuffa Boxing is finalizing a broadcast deal with Paramount. The announcement could arrive as early as next week.
MMA Fighting notes the timing connects with White’s recent social media hints. He teased a major reveal before admitting he had spoken too soon.
TKO strengthens ties with Paramount
The agreement would become TKO’s second combat sports partnership with Paramount since its merger with Skydance. Earlier this month, UFC struck a seven-year, $7.7 million deal with Paramount.
The deal ensures UFC events will stream on Paramount+. Selected numbered cards will also air on CBS. Reports last month confirmed both sides were already in “advanced talks.”
Zuffa Boxing targets 2026 launch
Zuffa Boxing plans to debut in 2026. Dana White leads the project alongside WWE President Nick Khan. Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority provides financial backing.
The brand has already tested the spotlight. It promoted the Canelo Alvarez versus Terence Crawford fight earlier this month.
Monthly shows and supercards ahead
TKO aims to run monthly Zuffa Boxing cards. It also plans several annual “supercards” designed to generate global attention and revenue.
