Paddy Pimblett hasn’t posted on social media since suffering the first defeat of his UFC career. The Liverpool fighter, nicknamed ‘The Baddy,’ faced Justin Gaethje for the interim lightweight title on Saturday night.

He took heavy damage in the unanimous decision loss to ‘The Highlight.’ The battle earned Pimblett praise and new fans, but it also forced a hospital visit.

Laura Pimblett updates fans

The UFC has not provided an official update on Pimblett’s condition. Fans found relief through a social media post from his wife, Laura Pimblett. She shared a photo of the couple after UFC 324, showing their backs while concealing Pimblett’s battered face.

Laura reassured supporters with a loving caption: “Us forever. For everyone asking, he is absolutely fine and will be back.”

Gaethje declines hospital check

Pimblett matched Gaethje blow for blow in the fight. Dana White offered Gaethje a hospital visit after the bout, but the interim champion refused.

White told reporters, “Apparently, he’s 100 percent. We sent Paddy Pimblett straight to the hospital, and then we were gonna send Gaethje too, and Gaethje said, ‘Believe me, I’ve been involved in plenty of wars, I’m good.’ As far as we know right now, he’s healthy.”
