Molly McCann retired from MMA earlier this year and quickly entered professional boxing with success.
She defeated Kate Radomska in her debut on September 13 at Windsor Park in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
McCann fought under a Matchroom Boxing event, marking her first steps into the squared circle.
From Octagon to Ring
McCann competed in MMA for 10 years, becoming Cage Warriors women’s flyweight champion before signing with UFC in 2018.
She earned a 7-7 record in the UFC, finishing her run with a loss to Alexia Thainara at UFC London in March.
Radomska’s professional boxing record now drops to 4-7 after the defeat.
Dominant Debut Performance
McCann applied constant pressure, throwing heavy combinations throughout six rounds until Radomska’s corner ended the fight.
At one point, Radomska attempted a kick to push McCann off while trapped in the corner.
The referee ignored the move, allowing the fight to continue uninterrupted.
In the fifth round, McCann dropped Radomska with a clean right hand.
She then sealed victory in the sixth, overwhelming her opponent until the stoppage.
