Ex-UFC champion Andrei Arlovski calls out Jake Paul for ‘dream’ boxing fight

Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski has become the latest ex-Octagon star to call out Jake Paul, expressing his desire for what he calls a “dream” boxing match.

After leaving the UFC last summer, Arlovski has competed in BKFC and Dirty Boxing Championship, and now hopes to tempt Paul into the ring. “It’s going to be a dream come true,” Arlovski told MMA Fighting. “You have to respect that he trains a lot and spends a lot of money on his coaches, so he’s not a joke.”

Paul, whose December return is expected after his exhibition bout with Gervonta Davis fell through, has built a “hit list” of potential opponents, including Conor McGregor and Alex Pereira.

Whether Arlovski’s challenge is accepted remains to be seen — but with Paul eager to fight before year’s end, another MMA crossover could be on the cards.
