Cody Durden’s tough run continued at UFC Vegas 110, where he was submitted by Allan Nascimento in the second round of their 130lb catchweight clash.

Durden, who stepped in on short notice, started well but was caught in an Anaconda choke midway through the second round and forced to tap — marking the fifth submission loss of his career.

The 34-year-old American has now dropped three straight fights and is 1–5 in his last six, a disappointing start to his new four-fight UFC contract.

For Nascimento, the win was his fourth in a row, and he used his post-fight interview to call out Steve Erceg, the #11-ranked flyweight and former title challenger.
