Anthony Joshua has been injured in a car crash in Nigeria just 10 days after his win over Jake Paul.
The crash occurred on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway when Joshua’s vehicle hit a stationary truck.
BBC reports confirmed two people died at the scene.
Joshua, who was travelling in a Lexus, suffered minor injuries.
Footage shared online showed him shaken as he exited the wreckage.
Local authorities said he would be taken to hospital for further checks.
Joshua was visiting family in Ogun State during the holidays.
His promoter Eddie Hearn said initial signs suggested he was okay.
The crash comes shortly after Joshua stopped Paul in the sixth round in Miami.
Plans for a March return and a possible fight with Tyson Fury may now depend on his recovery.
