Early Success Sparks Expansion
Zuffa Boxing kicked off 2026 with two successful events, prompting Dana White to announce plans to increase the promotion’s initially scheduled 12–13 fight cards. Speaking at the Zuffa Boxing 02 post-fight press conference, White said the strong start has put the company “further ahead” than expected and hinted that more announcements in the coming weeks will “rock the industry.”
Star Signings and Upcoming Fights
The promotion has already lined up a busy first quarter, with a third event set for February 15, featuring former heavyweight champion Charles Martin against rising contender Efe Ajagba. Lineal cruiserweight champion Jai Opetaia will headline the fourth event on March 8, marking Zuffa Boxing’s first marquee champion signing. While the first two events included only two Ring Magazine-ranked fighters, the company is moving quickly to add star power to its cards.
Plans Beyond Las Vegas
So far, all Zuffa Boxing events have taken place at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, formerly the UFC Apex. White confirmed that while the schedule for 2026 is expanding beyond the original 13 events, the promotion also plans to host shows outside Las Vegas, signaling ambitions to grow its footprint and reach boxing fans nationwide.
