Alex Pereira spotted sparring with Dutch model after split from Tracy Cortez

Alex Pereira has been keeping busy while waiting for his next UFC booking, sharing a light-hearted sparring session with Dutch model and influencer Vera Dijkman that quickly went viral on social media.

The former light heavyweight champion has not fought since reclaiming his belt with an 80-second knockout of Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 320 last October. He has since hinted at a possible move up to heavyweight, with a dream matchup against Jon Jones.

The clip drew extra attention given recent interest in Pereira’s personal life. Earlier this month, UFC flyweight Tracy Cortez confirmed she was dating Pereira, only for the Brazilian star to announce nine days later that the relationship had ended. Cortez has not commented publicly on the split.

For now, Pereira appears relaxed and in no rush—staying active in the gym while fans wait to see whether his next step comes at light heavyweight or on a much bigger stage.
