The 2025 World Boxing Cup Finals will take place at the Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex in Greater Noida from November 14 to 21. The event will feature more than 140 elite boxers from 18 nations, including three Olympic medalists.
India will field a strong 20-member team consisting of 10 men and 10 women. The squad includes several former world champions, Asian medalists, and promising newcomers. Competing against top-tier athletes, the Indian contingent aims to showcase its growing dominance in global boxing.
Among the standout names are former World Champion Nikhat Zareen (51kg), reigning champions Jaismine Lamboria (57kg) and Minakshi (48kg), two-time Asian Champion Pooja Rani (80kg), former World Champion Saweety Boora (75kg), and silver medalist Nupur Sheoran (80+kg). The men’s side features Hitesh (70kg) and Abhinash Jamwal (65kg), both previous World Boxing Cup medalists.

The finals will bring together three Olympic medalists — Aeji Im from South Korea and Wu Shih-Yi and Chen Nien-Chin from Chinese Taipei — along with several World Cup and World Championship gold medalists. These athletes will compete across ten weight divisions for the coveted World Boxing Cup trophy.
Boxing Federation of India (BFI) President Ajay Singh expressed pride in hosting the global event. “Organizing the World Boxing Cup Finals reflects India’s rise as a boxing powerhouse,” Singh said. “Welcoming top nations and Olympic medalists to our country is an honor. Our athletes have shown they can stand among the world’s best, and this event gives them the perfect opportunity to prove it again.”
The tournament will serve as the grand finale of the annual World Boxing Cup series, determining the top-ranked athletes of the season.
