UFC legend Daniel Cormier recently expressed his frustration with welterweight champion Jack Della Maddalena after the Australian retweeted a negative post about him.
In a video on his YouTube channel, Cormier explained that the post suggested “there should be a button to mute DC’s mic.” Furious, he messaged Della Maddalena directly: “Jack, wrong bro, what’s up. Why Jack?”
The champion quickly responded, apologizing and calling it “a bad take.”
Cormier, known for both his sense of humor and fiery side—famously clashing with Jon Jones and occasionally teasing Khabib Nurmagomedov—handled the situation directly, demonstrating his no-nonsense approach to being respected in the MMA community.
